On October 30th, Toronto Talks Presented 7 Steps to High Tech Start up
Success with Sofia Andreou, M.Eng., Senior VP of Business Strategy with
OceanLake and Chris Koressis, B.Sc., LLB., a Senior Partner at Fogler
Rubinoff who specializes in IT Ventures, on Tuesday October 30th at 7pm
at Metro Hall Room 313.
Chris Koressis practices in the area of business law, including mergers and acquisitions and information technology ("IT"). Chris discussed the legal aspects of setting up a corporation including buy-sell agreements, arranging of capital, and team implementation.

In September, Toronto Talks presented TAX TALK with Jerry Henshall, a
Chartered Accountant with CA4IT and Janie Goldstein, Vice President of
the Canadian Medical Discovery Fund on Tuesday September 25th at 7pm @
Metro Hall, Room 313.

Janie Goldstein, B.Eng., P. Eng., M.B.A.,(Harvard), Vice President of
the (CMDF).Canadian Medical Discoveries Fund , discussed the Tax
benefits of investing in a is a labour sponsored investment fund
(LSIF). If the LSIF was invested into an RRSP and you are in a 48
percent tax bracket, she illustrated that a $5000 investment would only
cost $750.
